@Phaedrux Yes, I already have the Duet wifi for a few years on a large format 3D printer with nema 17 and 23 motors, but unfortunately they lose steps due to lack of power, so I'm thinking of using servo motors with the duet wifi. I have not bought any servo yet and by the way I would like you to recommend some servo models that are compatible to do this installation.

Connect servos on a duet WiFi
Hello everyone
Is it possible to directly connect a servo motor, or a closed-loop stepper motor to a duet wifi card? If not possible then what devices would I need?
Thanks a lot

Losing steps with Nema 23 and 24V in a Duet wifi
Hello
I am building a large format Cartesian printer controlled by a WiFi duet at 12V input and in my initial design the Y axis was driven in the middle of the axis by a Nema 17 of 1.7A, the problem was that it had too much vibration since the ends were not held. Then I decided to remove the Nema 17 and attach a Nema 23 of 2.8A (57STH56-2804A8) at each end to gain more speed and decrease the vibration, additionally I changed the 12V (20A) source to one of 24V (15A) because in theory it is better 24V.
When I had the Nema 17 installed I could reach 3600 mm / min to 1200 (mA) without problem and without losing steps, although with enough vibration, the problem now is that with the Nema 23 I can not exceed 2100 mm / min because during the print start to lose steps, I have tried more than 2000 mA but both engines are heated considerably and continue to lose steps. I have tried connecting them in series to the same driver and also with independent drivers without any improvement.
I am truly worried and surprised because I do not understand how a single Nema 17 works better than two Nema 23 at the same time and moving the same load. Finally I tried changing the two Nema 23 for two Nema 17 and finally I was able to print without losing steps, but with maximum speed of 1600 mm / min and maximum acceleration of 50mm / s ^ 2, I investigated and saw that the tb6600 driver can be used , But I'm not sure.
Mechanically I do not think I have any problem since I am using ball screws, so the system is very smooth, although with a bit of inertia.
I appreciate that someone can help me, regards

RE: I have burned the IC U2
@dc42 hello, I've done everything you said and the Bossa port does not appear on my pc and strangely I just connect Vin, the Duet turns the hot bed out. I think the short was between these two terminals:

RE: I have burned the IC U2
@dc42 Hello, thanks for answering, I was testing the sd card and it seems that it has also been blown. I did the tests that you told me removing U2 and the wifi module heats up, the main processor gets hot but very little, I think the U2 was not the only thing I blew.

I have burned the IC U2
Hello, I was testing the duet wifi and I accidentally made a short with the tip of the multimeter and I think I burned the board. Apparently the IC U2 has been burned and I would like to know if it can be easily obtained or if it can be replaced by another more common reference.
Thank you in advantage

Duet Web Control do not open on chrome android
Hello, I just set the Connection of duet wifi to my wifi.
DWC runs good on my laptop but I have not been able to access the DWC from my Android phone, it tells me that it did not find the server's DNS address (ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED), I tried the "Find My Duet" app from my cell phone and it works perfect but I want to connect to the DWC from any Internet connection through my android phone. I have tried to delete cookies, hosts and other options and I have not achieved anything.
Thanks

RE: Recommended power source
Ok, I am going to read that but my fans run to 12v, is that a problem?
thank you.

Recommended power source
Hello, I have bought a duet wifi and I want to know if the power source (12v or 24v) affects the performance of the 3d printer, I have a 12v - 20A power source would be good idea change it by a 24v power source?
Thank you.
