Duet Wifi / DHCP / Windows = PITA 2 find after pwr cycle …

You can always install "Bonjour", a network service from apple. It allows you to navigate to your duet by just putting in "duetwifi.local", replacing "duetwifi" with the name you used in your M550
That won't work if you put spaces in the name, though.

If/when you lose wifi connectivity, if it is an issue with the Duet then rebooting the Duet or sending M552 S-1 followed by M552 S1 (from USB or PanelDue) will resolve it. If instead you need to reboot your router, then the fault lies with your router.
If i cannot connect to the duet with a usb cable, or my phone etc … how can I issue a M552 or any other command ? the working NUC is 10+ feet from the actual printer, but about 3 feet closer to the actual router.
So my other option was to reboot the router - or tear my NUC out of its mount and all the cables and monitor .... or buy a 15" USB cable at 11:00 pm at night. Rebooting the wifi was the only other option - im not sure why thats working to help the Duet wifi gain connectivity - but it does. And as i stated before - if that were the issues - why do NONE of the other wifi devices have issues connecting to the 2.4Ghz channel of the wifi router. My NUC is purposely on the 2.4Ghz channel to make sure its working and on same connectivity with duet wifi.
I powered off the Duet no less than 15 times to reboot it. I booted it with and without hte SD card as well - not sure what that would accomplish but I was at a loss for things to try. I will soon have the printer within 2 feet of the NUC and usb will be ok but TBH - I shouldn't have to keep forcing the Duet to connect with YAT.

As indicated above - the space in the name was removed 4 prints ago … does Bonjour run on windows 10 ?

Yes it does.
I have two duet printers, I access them by going to:
and
I have no clue what their IP addresses are, or if they change. I use Windows 10.
