information about calibration of filament monitor
-
Hello. Sorry if this post doesnt belong here.
I have a rotary encoder nbeing used as filament monitor, it is working pretty fine I think (I just started to test it again after a pause of some months).
Configuration is working and I get this:M591 D0
Pulse-type filament monitor on pin io2.in, enabled, sensitivity 0.345mm/pulse, allowed movement 10% to 200%, check every 3.0mm, measured sensitivity 0.349mm/pulse, measured minimum 17%, maximum 180% over 3701.7mmI would like to know exactly what does it mean the measured min and max values.
in my case the min value has being decreasing slowly (the 17% looks like steady at this moment), and the max has slowly being increasing (at this moments looks like it has not reached a steady value). So my querstion would be why is this happening.
On an old post I posted something similar, then I stopped the testing, now Im restarting. In that post it was suggested that may be using firmware retraction would help since the error probably could be coming from reactions not being recognized like so and so that movement was being used into the error calculation. Would that be possible?
Im using a duet3, SBC mode with 3.4.6 firmware.
