It's time - Who wants to buy one of my 3d printers?
-
Hello everyone.
I've been in the 3d printing hobby now for a while and have really gotten involved in the last few years. Not much else to do when you're forced to work from home during the COVID lockdown.
I have an older Rostock Max V2, which I've heavily modified. The only real original part is the frame itself. The elelectronics were updated to Duet 6hc, dual extruders, smart effector, aluminum build plate with 110v heater, and 0.9 degree steppers.
I have updated to aluminum trucks, and Haydens effector arms as well.
It's not a pretty machine, it looks a little more like Frankenstein's monster, but it works!
I am looking to tinker less and downsize my array of machines, so I'm thinking of letting it go.
Not sure if this is the best place for the request, but since the machine is powered by Duet I figure this is as good of a starting place as any.
So here it is, is anyone interested in buying Frankenstein's Monster? I'd like to at least get the cost of the electronics out of it, so I'm thinking $450. Ideally someone who is near Madison WI so shipping is not outrageous.
This would be a great machine for someone who likes to tinker. As I said, I'm refocusing my efforts and while Delta machines are great to watch, it's just a lot of work to print something very simple.
