What can I safely do during a pause?
-
Hi All,
During a recent large print (50+ hrs so far) I started hearing creaking in one of the axes and would have liked to checked out the X axis drive system and perhaps adjust the belt alignment and tighten some pulley grub screws.However I'm not sure I f I could move the X axis from the Web interface without ruining the print.
Is there a list of operations that can be safely done during a print that's paused via the web interface? I know I can drive the extruded as I do that during filament changes but not sure about the x / y axes. M25 doesn't mention anything specific.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Best Regards

@cncmodeller
Hi, you can move x and y without issue and can also move z but only rise it in order to not hurt your printing.
In resume I do home of x and y in case they have moved during some maintenance during the pause (Clogg removal...) -
@danzaywer that's great, thanks for the info!
