ToolBoard 1LC mutant connector

So I just received my toolboard and noticed that the 3 pin connector Out2 is a taller than the other connectors. From the docs I had created a cover for it that will not fit because of this. It looks like that one connector is a different manufacturer thus a height of 10mm instead of 8.5mm. I know it's only 1.5mm but it does matter when you are trying to get every mm you can for build space. Is this always going to be the case or did I just get unlucky on this connector? I would like to replace it with the same height connector but don't want to spent $8 to order it from Digikey (with shipping). What can I do to get rid of this mutant connector?
