Paneldue Dead

Seriously struggling with updating the firmware on my paneldue.
Would it be rude to say that the instructions for updating the paneldue firmware simply aren't clear at all for the layman?
I mean seriously, I followed the extremely confusing instructions, and now I have a blank screen.
I'm not a computer guy at all fair enough, but I got through the other firmware updates all right.
I've got the latest firmware in a folder on my computer, could someone please just tell me in plain english how to wake this paneldue up and update it?
I'm loving my Duetwifi converted Zortrax, but the support documentation is certainly not aimed at the layman.
I can't even tell if I've bloody Bossac, let alone use it, could someone help please so I can use my printer.
Cheers and moan complete….

What size screen do you have on the Panel? What Computer OS are you useing?
And I'll attempt to put a simple Zip together for you that will have all the files needed and a simple Bat file to run to install it all.
This is what I do on mine.

Thank you so very much, most kind of you.
It's a 4.3 paneldue, and I'm using Windows 7.
I should point out that I got into the procedure as far as pushing the erase button (which blanked/shut down the screen), and the problem I'm having is the command prompt won't recognize what we are trying to enter (port 11 by the way).
Please be aware that I'm a complete computer numpty, so you'll need to explain in kiddy steps what I'm doing with these files you send.
And thank you again,

I need to go out now but will get to it this evening for you can you pm me your E-Mail address it will be easier to send the file to you then?

Cheers Doug, and thanks very much for helping.
I might have panicked a bit there, as I thought I'd "bricked" my paneldue.
I know this is all good kit, but it can make the average tinkerer feel a bit dumb and daunted, that's for sure.
I am absolutely marveling at how fast this thing is heating up my new build plate though…

I'm entering this into the cmd;
bossac.exe –port=COM11 -e -w -v -b "C:\Users\Neil Johnson\Downloads\PanelDue-4.3-1.16.bin"
And I'm getting this message:
C:\Neil Johnson\bossac.exe is not a valid Win32 application

And a big thank you to Doug who took the time to make a file up for me that did it all automatically.
Cheers Doug!
