Anyone had any experience with CS Labs controllers?
-
Long shot, but I need some assistance.
I have a friend who has a Plasma cutter that is controlled by a CS Labs controller.
Spoke to swift cut and they basically said, 'The IP Address cannot be changed, it is written in the firmware'
Being a person who builds networks for a living I find this not true, everything that connects to an Ethernet network must be able to have its address changed!Anyway, if anyone knows how to change the IP Address in the controller for a CS-Labs controller, I would appreciate the help!
Regards,
Paul.

have a look at link it may be the wrong controller but Pg 26 says it is assigned by DHCP makes 3 attempts and then defaults to 10.1.1.2 (takes 10 secs apparently.)

Thanks for the info, greatly appreciated. I will give it a try on Monday when I have found out how to tweak the Mach4 software to take a new IP address.
Again, thank you.
