Which G32 to use
-
if I were to do G32 at the start of every print, would I want to use G32 S2? Or S1, S0?
I want it to get the Z height accurately before the first layer.
I was unable to discern from the gcode documentation which one would do this.

normally you run G32 once and if you dont change anything on your printer.
if the it varies from print to print there are mechanical issues wth your printer.how are you saving the results from the G32 command?
-
I do not know.
is M500 the command to save those results?
There was a thing in the 'set up a delta' doc that mentioned doing G32 at the start of every print. Its so fast i figured it would be better safe than sorry to run it every time.
-
That would be the normal G32 to run before each print.
please post your config.g and config-overwrite.g

i think you forgot to pid tune this heater.
the rest looks good to me.
what endstops does your machine have?
i found that mechanical endstops on my delta were not accurate enough.
with ir endstops the results were a lot better. -
it's an anycubic predator. they're optical endstops. and the probe is a smart effector.
I'll have to PID tune the heater. thanks for the heads up.
