Fan1 dont show

Hi
I just made a firmware update 2.03 (2019-06-13b2)it looks good but I have 2 part coolers But only fan 0 show up and also Fan 0 is the only one there spin up.
In firmware 1.20 beta6 I had all the fans on the web control panel... But I had to turn on fan1 manually but it work.
What do I do to get it to turn on auto or get Fan1 slider back in web control panel
My board is Duet 2 wifi

M106 P1 H1 T45 controls the Fan1 port and should be for your hotend fan, it is configured to turn on automatically when the temperature reaches 45c.

M563 P0 D0 H1 ; Define tool 0Further, this command attaches the Fan0 port to your tool, which should make it controllable via the tool fan slider in the DWC.

I have 2 part cooler 1 hotend cooler
Hotend cooler start when hotend is heated and then only 1 part part cooler turns on with the layer I set it to

If you have 2 part cooling fans, how are the connected to the board?

Alright, so you need a M106 command for Fan port 2 similar to the one for fan port 0.
M106 P2 S0 I0 F500 H-1 ; Set fan 2

Do I write that as a extra line ?
-
Yes. Add it below the other 2.

Yes. Add it below the other 2.
Done and it worked So now I will make the print again tommorow
Just one thing more how and where do I write M929 P"eventlog.txt" S1 ; start logging to file eventlog.txt
M929 S0 ; stop logging -
And thank you so much for your help

M929 S0 ; stop loggingYou could add the start to config.g and the stop to your slicer end gcode.
Though I question if at this point you actually need it. Logging can also have a negative impact on performance due to the overhead. Best not to use it unless you need it.

I dont want to have the M929 running expect if it fails again with the hotend stops heating.
So it is just to see what happens if I get more fails.
-
Okay update
Maybe I have done some wires wrong... Both fans show up in web control and fan0 start on 3 layer like I told it to do i slicer but the other part cooler fan1 dont turn on unless I use the slider in control panel.
Another problem is when fans turn on hot temp fall from 240 to about 230-232 with only the fan0 if I turn fan1 on same time I will get Heater 1 fail. Can it be something about the power to the hotend ?
When fan0 turn on and I wait 1-2 min. and turn fan1 on slowly temp drops but no fail on hotend and after that temp is constand.

Ah yes there is one more piece to the config missing. We need to add the extra fan to the tool definition.
M563 P0 D0 H1 ; Define tool 0
Should become
M563 P0:2 D0 H1 ; Define tool 0
That should attach fan0 and fan2 to tool 0
-
To solve the fans cooling the hotend too much you'll have to aim the fans more carefully so they aren't blowing on the heater block.
You can also use a silicone heater block sock to cover it and shield it from the cool air.
And you can also run the PID tuning with the fans running at your regular print speed so that the model can account for the extra cooling of the block.

I have made a order now on silicone socks
