Rpi browser for DWC?
-
I’ve searched the forum for this but haven’t found any info. Maybe it’s not the right place to post.
I’ll have a bunch a machine running duet boards… right now I have 4 printers but I plan on getting more as demand grows. I wanted to have some kind of controlling station where I have a computer running a web browser. I have a raspberry pi 3 laying around and I was wondering if someone is using a Raspbian web browser like chromium to access DWC.
In the future I’ll have a web programmer build me an interface web page to get an overal view of all machines (status, % completed, quick access) so I can just setup a few stations around the shop.
Reason I was thinking about that is that panel due is a bit small... I was using an iPad Air as a display but it’s still small and tactile is not that great... so I figured a little keyboard + mouse and a big sceeen would be more convenient.

I'm using Chromium on a RPi2 and it works fine with my DuetWiFi.

For multi printer monitoring, see:

That's a prototype above, that already works. Target, very soon now, is to have a version that "serves" from a Duet.
I have not tested it in Chromium on a Pi. It does work in Chrome, Firefox, Edge on a PC and Safari on Mac.

Same for IceWeasle (FireFox) on my Pi3 over Wifi on Raspian/X (I also tried chromium without issues).

I will keep this in mind. I’ll contact you later and see if you can work with my programmer to find a common solution. Good work!
