Tony at Oxford/ heating issue/240v bed control .
-
Hi,
My very useful printer
Is generally running fab, however it has an intermittent issue. I bumped into Tony at smrrf/Oxford and we briefly discussed it. Cheers Tony. Was a great show!
When heating from cold it will quite often bork out and the warning says;
Hot end heating too slow at 1. 2 degrees /second etc
This trips a fault and stops heating.
A pain. Need to widen the heating safety variable. There is no fault with the heater.
Also, can I run a 240v heated bed via my duet2 wifi?
Will look at my post on this when I work out how to search my own posts!
Regards Rich

@FuseDeep you can run a 240v bed from a duet 2 using an SSR.
For the heater fault you can try and retune or manually tweak the tuning information https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Troubleshooting/Heater_faults and https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Connecting_hardware/Heaters_tuning#setting-the-model-parameters-manually
