6XD: Stopping heating while... heating (bug?)
-
As I was installing the water cooling for E0/T0, used like a thermostatic fan, set at 45C (there is a story here, too, for another post), it happened that I set some random active temperature for E0, like 100C. Then, made it active, it all worked well. I mean, the cooling started at 45C, or 46, do not remember. Then, immediately, i tried to stop E0 heating from Panel Due display, and... nada.
I meant does not work until reaching the active state temperature. Still, after reaching the active temperature, it will. But, let say, I would have set it at 400C, and for some reason I would have noticed this is wrong, and in fact I meant only 300C. If one made it active, it is nothing to do, but ... POWER switch.
Oh, and do not even mention STOP button on the screen, as that one it is from another world.
I mean, maybe it does something, stopping all and such, but when using it, you have anyway to push the reset button (hehe, if one has a button for this, and not only a pinhole). This button, stops too much, I mean, even the thermocouple adapter on 3HC stops working (this is E0 temperature), going to 2000C, and the thermostatic fan of the heated chamber starts working, with 30C inside, albeit being set at 65C, and ... such stuff. That display button is almost useless, at least on 6X, I would say, but this is a long digression, already.

@jay_s_uk
You ment ”sure you have”.
Indeed, there are. I may need ( ) to dive more in those files and their ... life philosophy.Thanks. It was not the end of the world, but ... thanks.
