Tool active in DWC not active on Panel Due
-
Today I started heating an extruder in DWC - tool was marked active then. Going to the printer to test extrusion (having a new BIQU H2O installed), I noticed temperature is right, and tried to extrude something. However, it would not let me do this, because ”no tool selected”. Then I smiled and selected it, and it worked. So, somehow, they were not in sync.
Not a big thing, just I expected otherwise.Maybe it is supposed to be so...?
Oh, yes, I think I am on 3.4.6 on 6XD. The extruder is on a 3HC, wich i think it is 3.4.4 (? too late now, hehe...). -
@soare0 a heater can be active without a tool being active so there is no "being in sync".
If you have a single tool on your printer, addT0
to the end of your config. -
@soare0 I commented T0 in config, as the printer started by default (at power on) with the corresponding heather active.
I see the point. As a beginner in working with GCODE, I associated the tool with the heather in my mind.
