M585 question
-
Hello. I try all the time to read and re read gcode doicuemntation sice I keep finding very usefull stuff! grweat job!
Today for some reason I saw M585, it looks to me that it could be used to find XYZ offset values for T1 (assuming you hanve 2 tools, T0 is the main one)
It is not clear to me if that is ok or not, the proposed workflow is not very clear to me.Lets suposed this config: T0 is the main tool, T1 is a secodnary tool with 0 Z offset, but with a -5X and -5Y offset (relative to T0 position). Of course this offset are not exact, it can be -4X and -5Y for example. So fine tunning is necesary.
Could ythis fine tunning be made using M585 since I have a very precise hall effect endstop. If so, can someone give an example on how to do it? many aspects in the m585 descrition are not clear to me
Thanks in advance
