LED Vector3D Daybreak on Duet3 6HC
-
Hey there,
i have two of the Vector3D Daybreak Bars and I´m not sure if I can connect them at the Duet3 6HC.
I have the 24V Version with 5W. LED BARIs it possible to connect the two LED Bars at the Board and turn it on and off with a Macro?
Thanks for helping.

@gringo yes, just use a heater or fan output (1A max) (5W per LED bar at 24V = 0.2A per bar so 0.4A total).
Use M950 to set the output pin and then M42 to control the output -
I have one Hotend and one Heatbed, so,I can use Out2 or Out3 for the LED Bars.
If I see this correctly, I can connect both LED bars in parallel to Out 2,
where V_Fused is 24V and Out2 then GND.
Is that correct? How do I configure the M950 command then?

You may get some flickering if you feed these LEDs from the 24V rail due to PWM on the other heater/fan outputs. In that case, grab VIN direct from the LED and only connect GND to the GND side/pin of whereever you want to control the LED bars and you should be good.

Thanks oliof,
For example, if I take GND from out6, how to configure the M950 command?
M950 E0 C"out6"Is that correct?
