@mfs12
I've installed this on a machine that's running RRF 3.5.0b2 on the mainboard/toolboard and DWC 3.5.0-b3.And
M291 S2
messages don't show the "OK" button. Don't know if this is a bug or a if it's because i'm running 3.5b2 instead of 3.5b3 on the mainboard?M291 S3
Works as one would suspect and display both "OK" & "Cancel". -
A couple more bugs on M291
Testing on
RRF 3.5beta3
HW MB6HC
PanelDue HW V3 7inch (Fysetc)-
The message box title displays the R value from the previous M291 command (even if it was in a different macro). Verified with S = 0,1,2 but didn't test on other modes.
-
If S = 1, there is no CLOSE button, but there is window close button ("X" in the corner). - reported by @Exerqtor
-
If S=2, there is no OK button, but there is window close button ("X" in the corner). If T=0, the X will close the window but does not unblock execution. An INFO message is added to the eventlog saying "M292: cancelled=false"

ok, will check this.
-
@mfs12 If the error message comes that he cannot extrude because the heater is not on, there is no way to close the box
-
@mfs12
Naaah earlier it would show the "OK" button on both DWC and PD withS2 😅
-
found the bugs mode and title problem... the title thing was there since a long time but occured only in certain circumstances.
-
@Proschi78 please be more specific how to reproduce the bug.
but eventually with the fixes it's already fixed. so best probably to wait for the next RC and test again.
-
@mfs12 I called stop.g to test something. There I have a filament retraction of 3mm. Because the extruder was not heated, the error message came up. There is no ok or cross to close the box
-
@mfs12 - Thanks for your work getting the beta FW released and the quick response to these new items. I don't know how much effort it is to do a new beta, but the lack of ability to close a blocking S=2 message is pretty bad and it would be great if a new beta addressing that issue is available soon.
Hope that doesn't sound too pushy. I'm really looking forward to upgrading my printer user interface with the new M291 capabilities.
