tilt sensor for delta printer
-
I was wondering if it would be possible to integrate one of these 3 pin tilt sensor to an endstop input on the duet2wifi. I am having issues with my magnetic rods falling down in the middle of a print and I need some way for the printer to do an emergency stop the moment it senses the smart effector tilting.

Development resources: demo codes, schematic, datasheets, etc. Wiki: [link removed by eBay]
It looks like eBay removed the link to the information required to make this thing work.
Do you have a link to the datasheet or other information about the part?

VCC 3.0V ~ 5.5V
GND power supply ground
DOUT MCU.IO (digital output)

please replace the asterik with "t"
it is a very simple sensor. similar to an optical endstop.

@tekstyle Is that link supposed to go to something other than an image of the part?
Do you know what angle the tilt sensor accepts as OK?
If it's a small number, the acceleration from moving your print head around as you print will cause it to trigger.
If there's no more data available, you could just get one, bolt it on and see if it triggers I guess.

after further looking into this thing, it might not work. it senses vibration as well and will probably trip it a million times during movement. back to the drawing board!
