Source Files for Duet 3 Mini
-
I was looking around on Github and it doesn't look like the hardware source files are there. I'm craving a challenge, so I was wanting to order a few PCBs from JLCPCB and build a board from scratch. Can someone please point me to some KiCAD files and a BOM?

Last time I checked, Duet 3 Mini was not an open source hardware.

From their site, on every sales page, is this:
Duet3D conducts extensive research and development to produce our electronics and we share this by publishing all the source for hardware, firmware and software. We hope this helps people to understand how our products work, to extend them and modify them to their needs and to contribute this work back to the community.
I don't know why they would decide to make this particular board closed-source, when all the expansion boards for the duet 3 series (and the duet 3 mainboard) are all available on github.

They usually post those files after the product has been released after a few months. If I recall the Duet 3 6HC went through a similar situation.
I personally think its a good thing. They just spent all that time developing the board, they need to make some money to keep the business going. Once those files are released the clones come out like crazy.

With open source, this is a feature, not a bug.
