Duet Toolboard 1LC 24V for Fans with VIN 24V ?
-
Hello,
is it possible to use 24V Fans on the Toolboard 1LC?
I´ve read the documentation and all I can find was wiring 12V Fans?My Vin is 24 V, will it be regulated down to 12V or is it switchable?
Kindly Regards

There was a thread about this, short answer is it'll be converted to 12v but you can mod the board ref https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/15347/mixed-voltage-for-24v-fans-on-toolboard/7?_=1607357629837

@Frederik I tried to run a parts cooling fan on 24v taken from the power input connector, the negative to OUT2. The parts cooling fan started when the hotend was heated up. Around 170C, the heating failed and the temp went to 2000C. This happened several times, even after a fresh boot. Only fixed when I went back to 12v.
