Z axis not responding to commands?
-
Bought a CNC machine from Buffalo CNC a month or two ago with a Duet 2 WiFi board. Followed the set up instructions and soldered the connection on the board. I've gone to test it though and X and Y axies work fine from what I can tell but Z is unresponsive. As far as I can tell all the wiring is in the right place for the micro switches and motors and I've even switched out the motor to check it's not broke but it seems to work fine. The only things I've not attached to the board are the fans but I don't really see how that could be causing a problem as the boards open to the air and I'm just testing the axis to make sure it all works. Any help would be appreciated.

@Wiltonio can you post a picture of the wiring?
We had another user that had issues with Z on the same machine.
Can you also post your config? -
@jay_s_uk I'm currently not at the workshop today but out of curiosity, and possibly for the sake of an easy fix when I get back to the workshop, what was the other users problem/ solution?
Also thanks for the quick response. -
@Wiltonio they replaced the board as I believe its a cloned duet 2 and not a real one
