PT1000 offset (low gain/high gain) values

I've noticed that the PT1000 measure approximately 2 degrees °C too low at room temperature and much worse, about 15-20 °C too low at 200 °C.
There are ADC high and low offset correction parameters available to the M308 G-Code but I have no idea how I would calculate those values?
Is there any article or howto someone could point me to for starters?

Also, I'm assuming you are getting "actual" temp values with a pretty accurate sensor like a thermocouple?
