Kissslicer + Duet firmware retractions
-
Has anyone firmware retractions worked when using Kisslicer? Had it working in S3D but jumped over to Kiss and struggling a bit to get the Duet to manage the retractions in the Gcode.

@Sakey I do use KISSlicer and have been FW retractions for quite a while now. I hope the two screen shots below can help you on your way. Also be sure to check [the wiki page on FW retraction settings (M207)].
You could put the M207 line anywhere, on printer g-code or even over on the Duet's side config.g file. I put in the materials g-code as it allows for easy to use different settings for each material I use.

Copy that @Nxt-1 ! Thank You! Just what I was looking for, some of the stuff feels very buried in Kiss. Cheers

@Sakey Yeah an easy to use UI is not really what KISS is known for sadly. Happy to help though.

@Nxt-1 Im an old kisslicer user and always have been wondering why there is no firmware retraction... But you post is like "UAUUUU" jajajaj
You mean that setting "Mark Path Start/Stop" with the G10/1 option that activates firmware retracion? Of course also I need to configure it on the config.g for example.I would add or ask: you would need to set the destring value to CERO also on the material tab on kisslicer right?
