@Rendalsniken for that configuring reprap firmware link, is it safe to just copy and paste each section to the config.g file with the knowledge that we'll need to adjust movement parameters and heating parameters?

If you do that, be very careful testing every single thing slowly and with a hand on the off switch so you don't hurt yourself or the machine if something isn't right.
Ideally, test the endstops by manually actuating them and checking that they work as expected and test the motors while not connected to any drive system (belts / leadscrew nuts) to ensure they move in the right direction.
Take special care with the thermistors and heaters.
