board will not respond

so i went to install a new config file, all i changed was the direction of the motors and my endstop switches. the printer was working before these changes. i uploaded the file and now my diag light is on, my wifi light will never blink or turn on at all and when i connect to my printer using yat, my terminal will open but the commands dont do anything they just sit there and no response from the board at all. plz help. first time doing any kind of board change and firmware flash idk wth im doing tbh. i had the thing working for a while now it doesnt do anyting at all.

Check if it shows up as a "BOSSA" device under device manager? (when connected via USB)

it doesnt show up at all but my computer makes noise so it is connecting. looking at other forums im pretty sure it wasnt the file, i might have shorted the 3v pin on my endstops. they werent working and i thought that they werent hooked up right so i switched the + to the 3v. thats when lights started flashing and now im here, that pins been unplugged but is my board screwed now or what?

@bearer thanks for the help but doesnt seem to have fixed it. all my lights turn on and looks like it works fine but nothing will respond to me.

I never said it would fix it .. but it would have helped determining what is damaged.

@bearer yea, ik it gave me ideas that i tried, deleting the config files off the sd card and some other stuff. i see that its connected to my computer and shows up as a bossa. but my terminal wont get any replies. just talking to give some info to anyone else looking at it that might be able to help. really at my wits end here

it didnt change i just looked in another location, i was looking at my folders page on the side, didnt see anything, i read that page and saw that it said to look in the device management page under coms and thats where i saw that it does show up

ill be honest im not the most tech savy guy in the world but i know a little bit, i didnt eve know the device manage was a thing tbh, i always just see new devices pop up on the left side when youre in file explorer. thank you so much for pointing out that procedure, i read right over that and didnt even notice it was a link. ended up flashing the firmware back onto it and works great now, no idea how i erased the firmware but all fixed thanks so much.
