Duet 3 - Bed on OUT0 not firing up SSR?
-
Hi,
I wired my SSR on the OUT0, and it's setup this way in the config file attached, config.g but for the life of me I can't get it to activate.
The board is on the latest 3.01 RC10 and the pi on the latest packages
The SSR is functional when powered directly, and the fuses on the board are good.
What could I be missing?
Thanks!

you need to feed voltage to out0_in (between out_0 and vin)
(if you have a few more issues like this, it'll work wonders for the average time and post/issue;)

@bearer lol ok so just so that I get it right, you mean I need to wire both the VIN and OUT0_in to the PSU?
Or bridge it from VIN

Yes, and yes. As you don't need any significant current the latter may be easier?
(You could also use any of the other outputs 1...8, with RRF3 there is no need to use the "bed" output for a bed)

@bearer awesome; well I just jumped the + wire from VIN to Ou0_in and it's working; thanks
I wouldn't think the gnd side needs to be jumped too as it should be shared right?

had to check the schematic to be sure, but yes, shared ground.
